How we are funded 

The Cancer Prevention Trials Unit (CPTU) receives a core funding award from Cancer Research UK to encourage, design, and facilitate practice-changing trials in cancer prevention, early diagnosis and screening. 

All trials are published in high-impact journals, accompanied by a press-release and all results are disseminated explained to patient groups. Where relevant, evidence will be presented to NICE and similar organisations.
